WRITING

• I am currently continuing development of my original musical Chalo! A Soccer Musical with a staged reading hosted at the Goodman Theatre this Summer. Our show is being produced with Pop Up! Productions in collaboration with Token Theatre.

• I completed the Creating the Musical Module where my capstone presentation of my original musical Chalo! A Soccer Musical (previously titled Go! The Musical was workshopped and performed in May of this year. My co-writer and I are continuing work with Chalo!  following the workshop. A demo of the numbers Someone As Maddening As You and Better are linked to the right.. A cut from the 11 o'clock number Better is showcased at the top of the page. 

• I was a Head Writer for the 92nd Annual Waa-Mu Show: Romance En Route. The process took a year with the writing process beginning in June 2022 and the show premiering in Cahn Auditorium on April 28. 2023. As Head Writer, I was tasked with heading the writing room where we outlined,  drafted, revised, and workshopped the show. Following the writing room and casting of the show, I took part in the rehearsal process where I served as a voice for the writing room and a guide for the director, actors, designers, and music team. During the rehearsal process, I edited, rewrote, and revised the show with edits being written and given to actors all the way to opening night.

• I was also a writer for the 91st Annual Waa-Mu Show: A Peculiar Inheritance. To the right is a song, Going Up In Smoke, which I wrote lyrics and music for.​​

• I was trained in music composition prior to college where I attended the Berklee School of Music Composition Intensive. To the right is a recording of the string quartet final that was presented to the cohort.
